I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego, where I conducted research as an undergraduate in Dr. Jena Hales’ Neurobiology of Memory Lab. Through this work, I became fascinated with neuroscience and began my PhD in 2022, during which I joined Dr. Ming Xu’s addiction lab. My current research focuses on exploring the neural mechanisms underlying cocaine and fentanyl use disorders, particularly in relation to autophagy-related processes.
Outside of research, I enjoy cooking and baking, taking a yoga class, and spending time outdoors.
