I am conducting my thesis research in Dr. Christian Hansel’s lab on the structure, function, and evolution of the cerebellar Purkinje cell. Before joining the graduate program in 2018, I studied biology and philosophy at Bard College, where a senior project recording currents in tadpole optic tectum inspired me to pursue neuroscience. After graduating in 2016, I became a research technician with Drs. Jennifer Luebke and Maria Medalla at Boston University studying the anatomy and physiology of decision-making circuits in the macaque.

In 2025, I will start a post-doctoral position in Dr. Vanessa Ruta’s lab at Rockefeller University to investigate learning and memory in the fruit fly olfactory system. Outside of science, I love to play soccer, write, and spend time with my exuberant dog.
